Learning is not attained by chance, it must be sought for with ardor and attended to with diligence. – Abigail Adams.
This summer I really wanted to do something different, so I decided to take a 5 days cake camp at one of the top pastry school in my city. I never knew that my idea to have fun learning something new had turned me into some kind of “amateur cake artist.”
This is the picture of dummy cake that I decorate on the first day of the camp.
This is the real cake of green dress with gold trimming and green bow that I finished at the last day of the camp.
If I had learned these when I grew up, I would have chosen pastry school right away. But hey, there’s a saying that no one is ever too old to learn something new, right.
