For my second cake project, Imer, my co-worker, asked me to make a pink car for his daughter, Lily.
For this car, I used the chocolate cake recipe that I learned from my 5 days cake camp. I started by creating a raised base for the cake, similar to a car frame lifted by its suspension systems.
After I carved the cake, I covered it with the fondant I bought at local craft stores. Still…I wish I had more time to make this cake look better. I unfortunately cut too much in the back part, so this had become a “special” kind of a pink car cake for Lily.
